Sexually Transmitted Diseases in Porn Performers

Although it is not always the case, porn performers may not always be as lucky as the other performers who work in porn films. As the result of the AIDS crisis in the early 1990’s, the porn industry has implemented policies that require all porn performers to be screened for multiple sexually transmitted diseases every fourteen days prior to them being allowed to work again. The number of tests that are run is also based on the age of the porn performer; hence most porn performers in their thirties and forties need a medical examination.

However, a medical examination is not the only thing that is done by a health care provider. Every porn performer is examined in order to rule out any form of sexually transmitted disease. These diseases are: Chlamydia, gonorrhea, syphilis, herpes and HIV. Each of these sexually transmitted diseases are classified by how serious the condition is, and whether or not it can be passed on from a patient to a porn performer.

Once the health care provider has ascertained that a porn performer does not have a sexually transmitted disease, they will need to run a few tests using an X-ray machine. X-rays are used to reveal internal bleeding or swelling of a body part. Once the tests are complete, the doctor will be able to make a final diagnosis. If there are none, then there are no sexually transmitted diseases that can be transmitted between the porn performer and his partner. However, if there are any signs of any of these illnesses, then the porn performer needs to seek medical attention immediately.

Once the porn performer has been tested and determined to be healthy, the next step is to discuss the situation with the health care provider. The health care provider will first advise the porn performer to stop taking any drugs that contain ephedra or guarana. These chemicals can cause serious damage to organs and muscles and may even lead to liver failure, kidney damage and even heart failure. Next, the health care provider will also advise the porn performer to quit smoking. Smoking has been known to contribute to a higher risk for certain types of cancers including lung cancer.

Once both of these factors are agreed upon, the health care provider will then be able to advise the porn performer how to reduce their risk of contracting an STD. This could be as simple as keeping a condom in their pocket while they are performing or using condoms after they are done.

Producers and directors of porn films will often use fake names in order to mask a porn performer’s real name. A porn performer is known as “Joe”John”, and they are called Joe’s and John’s in the sex industry. These men can get married in the adult film industry and their wives are known as “Jane”.
